Yoga spans across my life, on and off the mat. By creating space to practise it shapes me, inside and out. I feel better, balanced, whole.

This is the experience I wish everyone to feel especially in turbulent and ever changing times. Whether you’re recovering from illness, injury, need to retune and rebalance, yoga centres and helps to bring the equilibrium back .

Raised following the yogic philosophy I absorb the practice daily and when I can turn to nature practising in the forest or by the sea.

I’m passionate about its healing holistic effects and benefits which is why I love teaching and began offering it to students in 2001.

It’s never soon enough for me to book onto my ongoing Continuous Professional Development with my teachers so that I keep learning and offering to my students.

I thank all my teachers.

My devoted mother and late Papa where yoga was an everyday part of our lives and who introduced me to meditation. To my siblings Rima and Sunit who are constant rocks of support and good times.

Our eldest son Rudi who born with a rare syndrome, has become my greatest Guru in so many ways. To Dhillon our youngest who as an ardent sportsman and natural mover reflects so much of me in him and makes me curb my competitiveness (someone has to win) whilst making me laugh!

My husband Bill for his unwavering commitment, devotion and positivity in our roller coaster family life and who supports the nest and is the yang to my yin! Our adorable cocker spaniel Scout who brings so much play, joy and is always ready to be in the moment.

Thanks to my wider family and supportive longstanding and new friends.

Huge appreciation to all the yogi’s of old and current including Sandra Sabatini, Tara Brach, Judith Hanson Lasater, Mary Richards, Monica Burton, Tara Fraser, Swami Kailashananda, Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Petra Coveney and my yoga peers.

To nature and life itself.

Special gratitude to all my students. I remain a student myself as a result to keep learning and growing to offer my teaching which makes my dharma so fulfilling and enriching.
